The San Diego Union Tribune reports Kellen Winslow Jr was arrested Thursday for allegedly being involved in a burgalry in the San Diego area.
The 34 year old Winslow was taken into custody at a mobile home park after police responded to a burglary call. He is being held on $50,000.00 bond and if convicted, faces up to six years in prison.
The story I saw on Fox News only mentioned he was a former NFL player and and did not reference UM. Winslow is the second ex Cane TE to be arrested in the last few days. Earlier this week Jets rookie Christopher Herndon was involved in a vehicle accident near New York City and charged with DUI.
Update: Just saw on bottom screen of ESPN that KW2 was, according to multiple reports, "arrested on felony charge of 1st-degree burglary."
