what is the smartest thing to do? attend um this fall as a student and graduate sounds like the best option to me. then he would be free to transfer to a school of his choice to be eligible to play immediately for 2016 season since he has graduated from um. to be eligible to play right away he would have to move down to the old 1aa or lower correct?
If he is smart he won't make a knee jerk reaction and leave the school this close to graduating when he would be ineligible any way. I know he says he can't afford UM without a scholarship but he can get loans for one semester. Many, many students come out of college with debt that they will have to repay. One semester is not going to kill him.
