The University of Miami’s Leasing Deal with the Owner of the Dolphins Stadium, Stephen Ross
(who donated $478 million dollars to the University of Michigan Wolverines)
is a 50/50 % split between the U of Miami and Stephen Ross for ALL INCOME generated from UM Home Games at HRS.
So if the Canes Games generated $12 Million Dollars last Season, the Canes would have to give 50% to Stephen Ross which would be $6 Million Dollars in order to borrow the Teal Dolphins Stadium.
If you compare the UM/HRS deal with the Leasing Deal USC has with the LA City/County/California, it appears UM is getting ripped off.
USC signed a 99 year Lease Deal with LA City/County/California for $1 Million Dollars a year to have their Home Games at the LA Coliseum.
USC has been using the LA Coliseum as their Home Stadium since 1923.
USC is the only Team using the Stadium.
There’s No Borrowing from a Pro Team.
It’s all USC.💯.
No teal, No Pro Team Logos and Statutes.
USC has 100% Managing Rights and Operational Control of the LA Coliseum Stadium.
If the Stadium needs any repairs/remolding, Funds from USC Alumni Clubs and Donors pay for the repairs and remolding.
So if USC made $12 Million Dollars last year with Ticket Sales, Concessions, Parking, etc., they have to give $1 Million of that to the City/County of Los Angeles/California for Leasing the Stadium and then USC would be able to keep the remaining $11 Million Dollars.
Leasing Deals for Stadiums:
-USC pays $1 Million to use LA Coliseum
-USC makes $11 Million Dollars
-Canes pays $6 Million to use Hard Rock
-Canes makes $6 Million Dollars
A Bad Lease Deal is another reason why the Canes need to move out of HRS.
FACTS……….
I do more Research than Matt Shodell.
LOL..

The Miami Herald reported that Dolphins owner Stephen Ross makes “more than $4 million annually in revenue” from Canes football as a tenant but “will be receptive to negotiating terms,” according to UM sources. UM does not pay rent, but the sides split revenue from game days.
