To justify what we are seeing with Manny (Randy and Al) as a first year coach. Huge difference with JJ, Howard, Saban, Pete Carroll, Urban Meyer, Jim Tressel is, they all had extensive years as successful HC’s, NFL OC’s for championship teams.
That’s a huge difference than any coach since Butch was here. Dabo is an anomaly so using him is not being realistic.
First time HC’s at Power 5 schools rarely works out, look up the percentages of seasoned coaches being successful vs rookie coaches they are in favor of veteran coaches.
