Trump apparently had a meltdown when he saw Mueller's press conference, which suggests he probably hasn't even read the report (given that he barely reads) and has instead had his sycophants tell him what he would like to hear is in the report.

Apparently? You were there or Cems and CD told you? You guys are clowns with your Trump envy.

Sweet he had a meltdown, literally means nothing

Let’s go through this step by step.

1. Where in the Mueller report does it state “it’s up to Congress?”

2. If the Special Counsel did not clear Trump - what did they do? They certainly didn’t prosecute. A prosecutors job is binary (1) prosecute or (2) don’t prosecute. Unless you have a different option they can take. I’ll wait to hear it.

3. What Mueller did in drafting the 2nd volume of the report (on obstruction) was highly unethical and cowardly. Either make the decision to charge or don’t. Instead the man writes a legal treatise and discusses theories but never comes to a conclusion.

I want you to imagine for a moment that you were treated this way by a prosecutor. He lets you off the hook, but puts into the public a bunch of rumor and innuendo about you for all your friends, family, and coworkers to read. He then postulates how “you may have broken the law” but never charges you. How would that make you feel? Would you think it was a good thing? Responsible?

How come we don’t see it in any other cases? The prosecutor usually gathers evidence... then makes a decision... if it’s prosecute then so be it... the accused has his day. But if it’s don’t prosecute, at that point the prosecutor needs to shut up and move on.

But not here. Here Mueller writes pages and pages of how Trump “may have” obstructed Justice but never says he did LOL.

This investigation had no “there there” from the start and at the end, when they had to put up or shut up, they decided the only thing left they could do to get Trump was to leave it open ended? Make this a purely political fiasco that the Dems could continue to seize upon.

The answer to much of your post lies in the fact that DOJ policy prevents Mueller (at the time a DOJ employee) from indicting or prosecuting. All he could therefore do is gather facts and offer an assessment, which would then be up to Congress to pursue....which they likely will.

It's amazing people try to carry this criminals water like they are his defense attorney. There is no getting around more circumstantial evidence than we have ever seen in our life time. It isn't a matter of coincidence his own officials are indicted for working with the Russians. He knew this so tried to stop the investigation around 12 times? Please.....these laughing hyenas can save it.

Mueller said if he could have exonerated the dude he would have. Clearly he couldn't....so he didn't. This is the problem....because this dude isn't even a smart criminal. You aren't going to be able to hide behind being president forever. It is going to be on and poppin as soon as we can call him out legally.

My theory is that they protect him because they know the GOP and the entire conservative movement will implode if they concede they are supporting an extremely corrupt demagogue. Trump also fuels much of this by creating a patronage network that rewards those who kiss the ring and severely penalizes those who stray. This is why so called principled politicians like Lindsey Graham went from criticizing him as recently as 2017 to praising him profusely today. Not coincidentally Graham is up for reelection next cycle.

Fortunately, Joe Walsh - former Tea Party congressman - has been remarkably spot on about Trump for most of his time in office.

Yeah, there are republicans fleeing the ship because they just can't defend this kind of crap anymore. They are defending a POS and it has occurred to them his ride has an expiration date. Then what? Where is this going to leave the party. It will implode either way and if they want to save their political career, it is smarter to abandon ship now because Trump will lead you down the path of degradation.

That party is a complete dumpster fire. I heard a GOP talk show host that is pretty popular call this out. I think his name is eric Erickson. He went on this long rant last week saying he has had enough. He isn't going to trash Bob Mueller because he knows this is a good man. He was just saying he knows conservatives are going to kill him for this but enough is enough. He isn't going to just start trashing any and everyone just because they are calling out Trump.

He was supposed to make a decision, he didn’t he shirked his responsibility, that’s why Bar made the decision after he and other DOJ employees read the report, and viewed the evidence or lack of evidence.

There’s a reason you didn’t see parts of this interview plastered all over the place, it’s because Barr destroyed all of Mueller’s and the press’s arguments, and laid out a clear path to investigating the attempted coup.

He gave Trump the benefit of the doubt by not making one because he knew he couldn't indict. Therefore it would've been unfair to Trump if Mueller made Congress' choice before impeachment hearings could look into it, which they will in due course.

Listen to the clip, you’ll understand what you’re saying doesn’t pass the mustard.

I already listened to it when it came out a few days back. Barr and Mueller simply disagree, and given how Barr has disgraced himself by abdicating his role as AG in favor of becoming Trump's personal attorney to protect, I'm more inclined to go with Mueller's view on the matter.

What will the lounge libs do when the house chooses not to try and impeach? Do they understand the Senate will crush it or is a house motion a badge of honor for these dopes?

Mueller is / was a never Trumper who hired 13 Democrat lawyers to investigate Trump hoping to find evidence of collusion and obstruction .He was also good friends with Comey who has his own problems Mueller was disgraceful as he has been throughout most of his career . When, and how long ago did Mueller know that there was no collusion ? That’s the question . He and his team sucked as much money from the American taxpayer as they could

You’ll have to do better than the Trumps personal attorney talking point, no substance or real thought behind it, but sounds good to the desperate. This is Barr’s second time around, he’s never had an issue of credibility. Funny thing though, Eric Holder said he was Obamas’ Wing man. Liberals always accuse others of exactly what their doing, like Russia collusion.

So by invoking Holder you admit that Barr is also Trump’s wingman who is only on the job to protect him from prosecution. We’re making some progress here.

Let me get this straight...after giving no one the benefit of one doubt as part of this investigation, Mueller wakes up and says...

Hmmmmm....Let me give Trump the benefit of the doubt...are you quoting Weismann?

Are you kidding me?

That Is the stupidest load of crap you have ever tried to peddle.

If you don’t watch out your mama is going to get slapped by your Pops, too.

The sheer audacity of Trump supporters is limitless.

It is a world of complete false equivalents.

In their minds a meeting at a tarmac equates to lawyers,a campaign manager, aNational defense Secretary, and other Trump associates going to prison.

It's amazing!

No, I’m showing liberal Democrats always do what they accuse others of doing.
