I would be very surprised if any RB replaces Johnson as a runner and pass receiver. The notion that a combination of Yearby and Edwards will do so is fundamentally flawed because then who will replace Yeaby's production from last year? Edwards and Yearby (2015) will not replace Johnson and Yearby (2014). We will take a step back with this unit.

Yearby-He is not going to run over defenders or push the pile, but it seems that he is most effective running between the tackles. He has the unusual ability to make people miss in tight quarters. He has good speed and is very elusive in the open field and it looks like he may be an outstanding receiver. He doesn't need a hole. All he needs is a crease. Has great anticipation.

Edwards-In my opinion no one improved over the course of last season more than he did. He can break tackles and has a little wiggle, but still does not play as big as his size. He is not an instinctual runner like Yearby, but his judgment is getting better. Show some promise as a receiver and he can run fast.

Gray-He is one of the most gifted athletes on the team, but, so far, he hasn't developed a feel for the running game.

Walton-I am less enthusiastic about his prospects than most on the board. I think he is a very good all round runner, but he is not spectacularly good at any one thing. I think is effectiveness will be better than Garret Payton, but not as good as Clinton Portis.

Tucker-He had a very bad season blocking. He is big and fast for his size. It is doubtful he gets many carries or receptions.
