Texas recently passed a near-total abortion ban to protect the unborn but those already here better lock and load. Today open carry became law. People can carry guns in public places with no permit or license needed. Gotta make sure I don't piss anybody off on the highway or anyplace else. These phukers are crazy!

The people I know that carry are responsible people and would think twice before pulling. There are consequences for irresponsible use of a gun. Those trained know this.
I only get concerned when I see a carry packing a Taurus Defender with a 410 Shotgun shell in the cylinder. I figure that a person carrying an obvious home defense weapon is a little off, but JMO.

What you're saying is a big difference from the majority carrying guns and in Texas there is no training, permit or license needed.
Crazy is allowing chicks with dicks to legally expose themsevets to little girls. If you don’t like a states laws, don’t live there. Pretty simple seeing that we are a republic of states.

Utah has an open carry law with no permit, and anyone can also conceal carry. To open carry, the firearm must be two mechanical actions from firing. Haven't heard of a rash of shootings out here since the law passed.
Utah is far less populated and more civilized. Texans are a different breed and the State is too close to the border. Alot of illegals passing through will be strutting around brandishing their pistolas!

Less populated for sure but some of the rural areas here have some mighty strange people in them. Utards is one of the derogative nicknames used here by some. Should the responsible gun owning citizens of Utah be placed under the same restrictions of those in say, Baltimore or Chicago?
I'll have to think about that. That's a tough question. Offhand, I would probably say no due to the huge population discrepancy. The more people, the more guns, the more need for restrictions.
Fair enough. I would say though that what we need is responsible gun ownership and respect for others. Would it be fair to say that the vast majority of gun deaths in America are over turf wars in inner cities? Solve that problem and the numbers will go down drastically.
When cops are defunded, crime goes up and enforcement goes down. The citizens will take care of it themselves.

Texas leads the nation in overall gun deaths but are not in the top 10 when it comes to per capita deaths. To be clear though, no deaths are ok that are not justified.
Now everybody has to worry about who they approach and make sure they don't look at any body in a way that might be taken in the wrong way.
They will soon be in the top three in every category. Prior to the new law, you could not be a felon, not guilty of any Class A or Class B misdemeanors or under any form of indictment. Now, no restrictions. Insanity! Politicians collecting some big NRA donations!

I live in NH where we no longer need a license to carry a concealed weapon (constitutional carry). Not seeing any spike in gun deaths except along our southern border with Massachusetts which has the strictest gun laws on the planet. Unfortunately, cities in MA like Lawrence, Methuen, Lowell and Haverhill are havens for drug dealing, and other violent crimes where illegal guns flourish. The only times I've had to use my weapon were to euthanize animals hit be cars.,

No. My wife converted most of our stocks to cash not long after our exchange on this and may hold until the end of the year. I've still been following them here and there and they seem to have been a little flat since then. Hope it holds a while longer until we decide what to do.
Gold and silver stocks had a short downturn but both are up strong today. As I said earlier, we are in the early stages of a precious metals boom that should last for several years. The two stocks I mentioned both hold the largest deposits of gold and silver in their respective countries and will profit greatly.
