I can’t believe many of you fell for the distraction of the firing of Blake while Manny was kept. It kept the noise/angry mob at bay just enough for the admin and BoT to build up a reasonable narrative for why no other action was taken and a case to keep Manny this year and possibly next year.
What has this admin and BoT done to improve our major sports programs, other than being nearly a decade late for an IPF? What has the BoT done to prove they learned from previous wrongs and that they could make a significant critical decision that will catapult our sports programs into the competitive landscape?
I’ll tell you what… nothing! Absolutely nothing. Firing Blake was a ruse to move away from require actions for Manny to be gone! Sorry some of you fell for it, but things need to change for the better if it will be another decade of mediocrity for the U.
