This is definitely happening. Grass isn’t greener though. Know people who went to NYC for a month or two and they actually made less money because of housing costs, travel, and insane taxes. Here is another food for thought the Sentinel doesn’t tell you. Anyone know why Florida may be facing a hospital staffing shortage? It could be because other states such as California are paying travel nurses 10k per week to work there for a month because their numbers are just as bad. And for the record one of my wife’s friends was offered 10k to go to California, she jumped on a red eye Saturday night and will call out sick for the next 4 weeks.
Travel nurses overall make up a small percentage of the hospital staffing. What’s happening is that normal staff nurses have become “travelers” and are taking assignments in other hot spotsThis is definitely happening. Grass isn’t greener though. I know, that’s exactly what I said.Travel nurses overall make up a small percentage of the hospital staffing. What’s happening is that normal staff nurses have become “travelers” and are taking assignments in other hot spots
Those vaccines are FDA approved. Pfizer just got approved Yesterday. Your propaganda game is weak.Remember vaccines for measles and mumps have long been mandated in the United States and in Florida, for whatever reason DeSantis I don’t know if it’s to his political base but to not protect the citizens of Florida has been beyond catastrophic for hospitals with the Delta surge… to stand in the way of universities mandating vaccines and work mandating vaccines while telling children we will not protect you as well it’s a personal freedom choice is beyond incomprehensible. The mishandling an absolute working against protecting the public with delta surging will likely cost DeSantis a shot at the White House in my opinion, this is going to be tough to overcome in a national campaign.

Proven to be very effective for the last nine months there was no reason not to mandate them as many other cities have done. Would you agree now the governor has no more excuses and his propaganda game against private businesses who wish to mandate must end? Those vaccines are FDA approved. Pfizer just got approved Yesterday. Your propaganda game is weak.
You are like the Afghan Army, you lay down at the first moment of duress. Lots of ifs ands buts. Forcing people to take something not FDA approved and fully vetted is unAmerican. Our founding fathers would despise weak folks like you supporting government overreach.Proven to be very effective for the last nine months there was no reason not to mandate them as many other cities have done. - Without a vaccination program, by the end of June 2021 there would have been approximately 279,000 additional deaths and up to 1.25 million additional hospitalizations.
- If the U.S. had achieved only half the actual pace of vaccination, there would have been nearly 121,000 additional deaths and more than 450,000 additional hospitalizations.
- If there had been no vaccination program, daily deaths from COVID-19 potentially would have jumped to nearly 4,500 deaths per day during a second “2021 spring surge” — eclipsing the observed daily peak of 4,000 during the first 2021 winter surge.

Any EUA was granted so we didn’t have 5000 deaths a day. Florida after this latest surge will average about 400 deaths a day for the next four weeks. You are like the Afghan Army, you lay down at the first moment of duress. Lots of ifs ands buts. OK Mr. Propaganda. And 99 % are unvaccinated with underlying conditions…. Their bad choice, but their bad choice to make.Any EUA was granted so we didn’t have 5000 deaths a day. Florida after this latest surge will average about 400 deaths a day for the next four weeks.
9 months isn't enough lead time to discern the possible negative effects of a vaccine, especially in the pediatric and geriatric population. The Covid pandemic and it's risk of death is the reason emergency measures were taken and the vaccine was authorized. Allowing we the people the right to chose weather to take it or not is the only moral choice if you are not going to assume the responsibility of the negative effects of the vaccine. I didn't see you post the statistics of the people that have died over complications from taking the vaccine, nor did you post the statistics and findings from administering the different types of vaccines to the pediatric and geriatric populations. For one, Moderna seems to be having problems with the pediatric population. Do you think it is wise to inject children, who have 60-80 years of life ahead of them, with a substance that could handicap them from their life span ? These things need to be taken slowly and methodically, and up until now it has been well balanced, considering the push and panic caused by Covid.Proven to be very effective for the last nine month
This is where you lose rational thought. Desantis also advised everyone to get vaccinated. Several times. He just won’t mandate it. Lockdowns were proven to not work.By the way I don’t think this is political, I think certain governors like DeSantis have just completely lost their mind on this, Mitch McConnell the leader of the GOP in the Senate has said get vaccinated and supporters vaccine mandates..

Yeah the infected immigrants really must do well to get into Florida by boat….Could you imagine being Desantis, and after doing so well after the 1st out brake, you find out (because the Biden administration did not inform governors of the placements) that infected immigrants are being shipped into your state infecting the population ?
It’s not only that he won’t mandate it, he is not letting private businesses mandate it. That’s a huge difference between him and Mitch McConnell. This is where you lose rational thought. Desantis also advised everyone to get vaccinated. Several times. He just won’t mandate it. Lockdowns were proven to not work.
Also, your reading comprehension needs work. McConnell said employer vaccine mandates are good. He never mentioned government mandates. Huge difference!
no reason to take a swipe at Cuban's risking the straights to escape communism. I took you for a honest poster, my mistake, The Facts about how Biden has Shipped immigrants from the boarder into Florida, as well as Texas and many many other States is widely found on a simple search on the internet. You can be coy and ignore it if you want, but your opinion and posts are and will be devoid of Facts, and your point self serving.Yeah the infected immigrants really must do well to get into Florida by boat….
