Rule number one of successful business is don’t take a meeting that you don’t already know the result. A guy as successful as Rad, would not alienate his standing w Clemson, his career, only to do a mea culpa and back out… unless he finds out Mario ****ed his wife over dinner. Same goes for Mario, he doesn’t accept the position if there was uncertainty at the AD position and it could possibly be wide open tomorrow if Rad backs out. I am not an insider, but just the laws of behavior and successful business dictate it is a done deal.
