In typical liberal fashion, you only read the catchy headline and decide to focus on feelings instead of facts. The two black girls were still given the award, the school simply added two more students, who happen to be a white male and female. They didn’t “renege” the awards from the two girls of color as the headline suggests. The explanation from the school makes sense, they awarded for both highest QPA and GPA. This was a rare case where they aren’t both the highest.

It's an age old problem. Fear of bein inferior...not wanting to compete due to being unable to win. Changing the rules after the fact. The black girls had the scores.

Why the fk would I want to share my award with anyone? The ironic thing about it is, this is what you people criticize liberals for. Giving everyone a trophy....lol. Both were not the highest and the schools explanation was horse shit because the black girls took more advanced classes and excelled at those classes. The white students did not. Only after some white people did not like what they saw did they decide to make everyone a trophy winner. In fact, if you read or understood the story it still list the black girls as third. Potentially interfering with specific scholarships designated for Valedictorians.
May I suggest you either learn how to read or have it explained to you. Surely, you have never had a problem like this.

CD while the girls might be disappointed on their College applications they will be writing down valedictorian and salutatorian because they were stripped of nothing. They are being recognized for their accomplishment and hard work BUT so are the other students who (according to the article) had the higher GPA. You will note I never mentioned color of skin. YOU CAN"T KEEP CRYING RACISM.

No they won't be. I saw the girls on the news discussing this. They are listed as number 3 in their class after being number 1. You aren't understanding what has happened. ONLY until some white girls were upset where they finished did they get the school involved and the school changed how the grades are calculated.

No apparently you aren’t. The article clearly states the process is typically based on highest GPA. They changed the process QPA. When people complained about them changing the process is when it was switched back to its original format. It sounds like the format was changed to fit a narrative. That would be wrong would you not agree?
He is only a victim of reading headlines instead of full articles. I have family members do the same and too much time is spent correcting their laziness.
Actually in my opinion the school's handbook and guidelines sounded a bit ambiguous to me and should probably be cleaned up in it's formula BUT it's not racism.

Here is one for you.....My daughter ( who just graduated at the top of her class) got into Columbia , Duke, UT Austin, FSU ( god help me), Dartmouth, Syracuse, and UNC........However , she did not get into UF. She is white / Caucasian. 10 of her friends all got admittance into UF ( all 10 are minorities ...Either Latino or Black). All 10 had lower GPA's , lower SAT scores, and less extra ciricular activities. I never complained once nor bitched about the utter unfairness of this situation ( nor did she). Thoughts??? I fully expect no reply from you, but thought I would share this tidbit with you.
The EXACT same thing happened to my oldest son several years ago. He is now 32. He was so pissed off. Much higher GPA and SAT scores. Accepted to Miami, Emory, etc...eventually went to FSU where they paid him $10,000 academic scholarship to attend. He Debated on the National circuit at Harvard, Yale, Chicago, Blue Key at UF and placed in numerous tournaments over 4 years and UF said no. White, Jewish, no.

I thought we lived in a society now where everyone got a participation trophy, and that there wasn't supposed to a difference between 1st or 10th place so everyone (race, color, religion, creed, LBGTQIA etc.) can all feel inclusive?

All 3 of my sons went to FSU and had a great College experience. The administration was terrific anytime I had to call at the start, warm and welcoming. Sons 1 & 2 became die hard Seminole fans even though I took them to UM games their entire life until College. Son #3 the youngest double majored and in his 5 years he stayed a UM fan the entire time INCLUDING wearing UM gear in the student section whenever we played in Tally.
Now which son is getting more in my will?

A BLACK principal works for the school right? The alligation is against the SCHOOL he is a principal of so that is moot. His job is to protect the school.

Age shouldnt matter. In 1959 Byrd became a member of Congress That year only 19 offices were integrated. Byrd's office became the 1st office to have Black Americans as staffers. He also desegregated the capital police force, he appointed the 1st Black American to the capital police force. With his appropriation powers he integrated the metropolitan police dept with Black Americans. This was a few years before affirmative action.
As for his association with the KKK, He was a country boy from West Virginia and he wanted to get elected and maybe he did something he shouldnt have done but he spent the rest of his life making it up.
