We need toughness and beef. Reed/Donaldson will bring beef....Scaife and Gaynor toughness...and Campbell is my choice for LT as he got here early but was very young (17) but already showed a lot of progress and with another offseason I expect him to win out. Hillary will push and hopefully be a swing tackle, Mahoney will be an all purpose backup (including center) and Jones/Boulware are capable senior backups at guard. If on of Herbert/Brown can be good enough to hold their own, we could have a decent 10 guys in the two deep. 2nd unit looks like this:
OT - Hillary
OG - Boulware
C - Mahoney
OG - Jones
OT - Herbert/Brown
Includes 3 guys basically starting this year...so again, my hope is that we upgrade the talent in the first unit despite the experience of the 2nd.
