What a great video and story. I loved the way he relentlessly pummeled that dick. We need to see more of this. A man with balls doing the right thing and being recognized for it. A feel good story that we all need.
That's wonderful that he did that. Thats a very pro social thing to do.
The problem is, and this isn't a commentary on the guy who chased the perp down, that if the races were reversed it would be covered totally differently and we all know it.
Headline would be something like: "Mostly peaceful man borrows woman's purse and is beaten by White supremacist"......I jest but it's not that big an exaggeration.

I doubt it. The guys a hero and the local media won't do anything to change that (broken clock right twice a day). The jury pool has been prejudiced, and rightfully so, in the favor of the stories hero. The guy who got beat up appears to be a real POS dirtbag who I doubt has money to hire a lawyer and what lawyer will represent him for free in hope of a payout when the chances of a payout are very low?

Even if he went a bit over the top in beating the dude up when he caught him, which I don't know that he did in a healthy society a cop would simply tell him;
"Hey (can't recall his name) great job but if something like this happens again just tone down the beating a bit. I'm not trying to discourage you from protecting your fellow citizens, we need more of that not less, but once he's on the ground and incapacitated just hold him until we get there. Thanks again! If you ever consider a career change let us know. I think you'd be a great asset in law enforcement".

I very much agree. I have nothing but praise for the dude who tackled the perp. It's a wonderfully pro social thing that the young father, believe they said he was with his 1 year old, did.
I just wish others didn't evaluate these situations through a racial lens so that over half our population wasn't scared to take similar action out of a legitimate fear of being branded a "racist" by the anti White sociopaths on social media and in the mainstream media.
