I was at the game at FGCU last night. The Canes almost across the board were hitting well. Abreu hit a monster home run. But person who stood out was Thompson. It wasn't only that he had 4 hits. Three of them extra bases. What impressed me was the aggressiveness at the plate and the way the ball jumped off his bat every at bat. He was very impressive. This is what we thought he could be.
