Do you feel torn inside today? All of us have been waiting. Now you hear a big name surface. A great cane too. Mark Richt is a strong family man, has ties to UM, and is a great recruiter. His classes are always in the top ten. Sometimes the top five. he has 151-45 record in 14 years. Awfully good. His bowl record is good too. 9-5 I believe. But his record in the SEC title game is 2-3 in 14 years. And Since 2008 he is 1-9 against top ten teams. Perhaps most annoying for Georgia fans is a losing record against arch rival Florida 5-10.
A lot of his success was early in his career too, with the last couple of years being pretty tough. So like you I will wait. But I don't see a slam dunk here. Do you?
