Thoughts

I don't know I went to elementary school in the 60's we learned about slavery, underground railroad, important Black heroes, we learned about Indian Tribes and what happened to them, learned about The Alamo and things like that. That was mid 60's in the South (Florida) where we had ZERO black kids or teachers till I was in 4th grade. So what gives? Are schools NOT teaching these sorts of things in American History classes? I mean we now have a whole month dedicated to Black History. We didn't have that when I was a kid.
