In my opinion he was the Consummate Hurricane - He was our last scholarship ; his only D1 offer ; and he never made news off the field while a bunch of four star LBs were being kicked off every year he was hear, And by the end of his career I knew he was not as strong as a Denzel Perryman but if I needed one play made by an LB I would choose him as I am betting he would diagnose the play a split second quicker and want it more than his opponent, and I think he is most likely to get play made.
Having said that, and knowing his measurables at pro day would be at best adequate, I am still surprised he is not seemingly being talked about as either a late round pick or a priority free agent signing.
I find it hard to believe that at least half of the 53 man rosters in this league would not / could not use an all out balls to the wall player like Armbrister. For crying out loud, you think kids are coddled these days, think how much he must have been bullied for being named after Thurston Howell from Gilligan's Island!
In all seriousness, though, I am not a pro fan but I think even my native Pats could use him. I know he just cracked a 4.8 but despite not watching pro football I do know that Donta Hightower ran a 5.04 at the combine and still prior to injury turned out to be a good one for the New England Tom Bradys.
