And why there will always be optimism about this Program returning to being elite once we replace the completely worthless President, AD and HC.

#16 6-0 Wake Forest @ 4-2 Army, 12:00 PM
3-3 Northwestern @ #6 6-0 Michigan, 12:00 PM
#8 6-0 Oklahoma State @ 4-2 Iowa State, 3:30 PM
#10 5-1 Oregon @ 5-2 UCLA, 3:30 PM (12:30 PM Pacific Time)
4-3 LSU (elite program) @ #12 5-1 Ole Miss, 3:30 PM
4-2 Clemson (elite program) @ #23 5-1 Pittsburgh, 3:30 PM

And #18 5-1 N.C. State @ 2-4 Miami is primetime, 7:30 PM ET on ESPN2.

N.C. State is a B/B+ level program. A solid, not elite program. A local fan base mostly in the Carolinas. We are a complete shit show tire fire at 2-4 on the verge of full nuclear reboot and can't draw dick for attendance (as usual) in the 20,000-30,000 range.

And yet we are primetime national tv.

Absolutely amazing that this Program STILL carries tv viewing interest from the country as a whole despite being a complete shit show tire fire, and despite being wholly irrelevant in the national college football picture at least 15 out of the last 20 years.

This Program is a sleeping lion, BEGGING to be returned to greatness by competent both administrative people and coaching people.
