CD: Former Vice President Joe Biden wrongly claimed President Donald Trump has “yet once to condemn white supremacy, the neo-Nazis.” The big lie.
Trump drew criticism for his condemnation of “hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides” after a rally organized by a white nationalist in Charlottesville in 2017, and for saying there were “very fine people on both sides.” But, contrary to Biden’s claim, the president twice specifically condemned white supremacists and neo-Nazis, and he has repeated that condemnation since.
Also do any of you follow the forensic audit in Arizona? Main street media surpressing the results and the corruption. Just wait until its done. There is also a whistleblower from Dominion Voting systems who is blowing the lid off the false representations made by their executives and the vulnerabilities of the voting machines that were manipulated. Dominion and Maricopa County officials doing everthing thay can to prevent access to the voting machine software and other documents subpoenaed by the Senate.

Trump eats these rallies up because its a narcissists dream. Standing in front of adoring crowds telling them how great he is!
He does well at it. He's unpredictable, humorous and doesn't need a teleprompter.

Comparing your comments on Trump vs those of miamimike neatly illustrates, I think, a key cultural divide in the country:
*his supporters see spontaneous, humorous, no need for a teleprompter, charismatic, fun, blunt and direct. An outsider willing to tweak and upset the established powers.
*his detractors see self centered, mean spirited, narcissistic, self congratulatory and exaggerated to the point of frequent lying. An outsider wanting to be a dictator.
You're right, he does well at rallies and if he had his way his whole presidency would consist of a continuing series of rallies. His problems arise when he has to govern. His constant boasting, lying and name calling does nothing b ut divide people. Now , his "Big Lie" BS is causing conflict and riots. The Republican Party is imploding and won't rebound until they are rid of this buffoon!

I would say that is a high level observation that is fair. Of course, once you get into the weeds , the separation between Presidents widens significantly.
No, I don't think the Republican Party is imploding at all. I would agree with some other Republicans that we could have a better Senate Minority Leader or maybe some aren't thrilled with Kevin McCarthy but overall there isn't one Democrat at this time that would lead the party for 2024. Is Harris or Biden again the answer? Don't think many would agree. Who else? The Republicans have at this time, Trump, DeSantis, Scott, Cotton, Haley, I may have missed a few. No, not imploding at all.
The opposition party normally does well in the mid-terms. That won't be the case this time. The Repubs are losing members. More than 30,000 voters who had been registered members of the Republican Party have changed their voter registration in the weeks after the Capital riots. The massive wave of defections is a virtually unprecedented exodus. The Repubs have become a joke under the spell of a twice impeached, serial lying POS. Until they are rid of hin there will be no rebound!
Should the Republicans not take the House in 2022, it will just be more anti American legislation from Progressives and the Socialists that exist in Congress today. This country needs to exorcise itself from this scum .
I think it’s both. However, i think there’s a pretty big difference between lying and being inaccurate. Nobody is accurate 100% of the time and when it happens with Trump, the left immediately jump on it every time with allegations of lying when the intent isn’t necessarily there to put out false information like saying you graduated in the top of your class when you know you weren’t even in the top half for example.
Allied. As a Dem, I’m much relieved that the Progreesive-backed candidates have lost 3 recent elections: Mayor of NYC and House primaries in Texas and Ohio. Centrists are winning.
If I was a Repub, I’d be worried that Trump and his loyalists are not reaching out to moderates in either party. Hard core Trumpers don’t have the numbers to win without help. What’s your take?

I read and understand your POV. From my perspective as just “a guy: DJT was before he became President and thereafter simply a liar and and a fraud.
ex, I have a friend in Chicago who is the owner of a massive real estate brokerage firm in Chicago. Trump asked him to be the selling broker on the condos in the 90 story Trump Tower On Chicago River. My friend declined citing (privately) that Trump does not pay his vendors and will flee via bankruptcy if things go very badly. Would not do business with him.

I do not believe that much needs to be done. As this current administration's time continues, the more incompetence surfaces. Most recent example of course is the retreat from Kabul and the disappearance of our President, V.P, during this difficult American period. When the other issues are piled on such as the border, or inflation, China's aggression, Covid 19, high gas prices, people remember as I probably missed a few. If this continues or something worse arises, a change will be made just for the sake of changing to change this countries outlook to a positive one versus what we have now. If Trump decides to run, he can exude confidence. There are other Republicans that project a positive message as well. We'll see.
