Having worked with many Kurds during my years in Iraq, I would be delighted if Trump protected them. They did after all, risk their own lives on our behalf. I wasn't clear. It's the commitment we made to people looking to establish a territory. This is vital to our place in the world. We can't make these commitments and back out of them after they kept thier end. That is understandable at a very fundamental level man.
