Too many of us are focused on does the coach run a certain type of Offensive. The better question is does a coach run the best offensive for the personnel he has. Everyone used to say Don Shula could only win with a running offensive. However, when he got Dan Marino, he had of the most successful passing offenses in history. Today, look at a guy like Andy Reid he adapts to his personnel. These are the king of coaches that have long term success. If Lane Kiffin or Leach doesn’t have the right personnel they fail. I think our new coach is that kind of adaptive coach. Obviously time will tell but I am excited about this hire.
