My wife Cara had her 11th chemo treatment today and will have her final two radiation treatments this coming week. The build up of the chemo and possibly the addition of radiation has made the side effects more difficult to handle, pain and exhaustion being the chief complaints at the moment. Exacerbating the issue is my current chest cold, which in and of itself is no big deal, however with her comprised immune system I have quarantined myself. Meaning I cannot comfort or help her much at all, it's a very sad and frustrating state we are in. She has the two radiation treatments as well as 7 more chemo dates. Prayer as always is greatly appreciated.

Has she tried marijuana for the pain?

That's probably the hardest part. I will pray for you and your family.

Defiantly praying for Ms. Cara and you as well brother!

Phlipper, I know you and I have had our differences but I am truly saddened to hear that you're going through what you are, and more so, that your wife is going through what she is. My wife means the world to me, as much as I joke about what a pain she is! My father also passed due to cancer so I know how long and hard that journey through chemo and radiation can be. Stay strong for her cause she needs it!

My prayers are with you and I will even take it easy on your next 3 things thread. Well, I'll try at least! :D

We pray daily and more than once a day! God Bless and we pray for one outcome and one alone!

prayers from my family to your brother. Great job isolating yourself as much as you can open windows and get an air current going. I work in healthcare and cant afford a cold, so to fight them off or protect against getting infected by drinking ZINC no less that 44mg so its effective ( I drink a zinc only vit, but if my family gets sick I give them airborn it tastes belter and dissolves in water). Keep both your spirits up it can be very grueling, but attitude is very important, and she will take strength from you. God Bless you both

Phillip, I can honestly say I know what you are going through, my wife had Breast Cancer. You will surely go through some trying times, Your mind will be going ninety miles an hour to try an figure out what in the world you two did to deserve this. Pain, hatred, confusion, these thing's you will experience. I am able to tell you more, but you must figure these thing's out for yourself.. Do not stop praying. And I will pray for you both. You may not want to but you can send me a PM and I will give you my phone number, if you want to talk about thing's, or if you just want to pray. God bless you both.
