A few of the regulations may have been overreaching but the majority were installed out of necessity and should be left in place. The reasons for the initial regulations will soon reappear and they will need to be reinstalled.
We are the leading oil producer in the world. Why the need to install drilling rigs in our national parks. Ridiculous and unnecessary. Oil drilling in ANWR would require large amounts of infrastructure including pipelines, wells and roads and cause irreparable damage to one of the worlds most important wild places.

Drilling in national parks is the wrong way to create jobs. The long term damage outweighs the short term gains. Alaska needs to devise better ways to create jobs for its citizens.
