Guy formed a 503(c) non profit started a FB page, lost his tax exempt status and kept taking direct donations to his facebook page totaling over 450K. Bought a house in Toledo, Ohio and had the Realtor sign an NDA so the seller never knew the real buyer. Bought clothes, entertainment, food, traveled. FBI is on it. Grand Jury has spoken.
I'm guessing someone should tell you first of all this is not the BLM founder. Second of all.....allegations are allegations. You are presenting this like this person has both been charged and found guilty. Please stop doing this.

More importantly BLM is a phrase that means Black Lives Matter. I support the movement but don’t give a **** about any “founder” beliefs. When I marched and when I March again it’ll be organized by the groups I’m involved with, Omega Phi Phi, National Bar Association , Urban League, 100 Black Men. The last March I attended was organized by Alpha Kappa Alpha and the Council of Negro Women.
You can keep believing that it’s a singular group directing the civil rights movement. It shows your ignorance not mine. It’s as dumb as calling MLK (Southern Christian Leadership Conference) the only group in the 60s Civil Rights movement when you had CORE, NAACP, SNCC, National Counsel of Negro Women, Black Panthers and NOI...oh wait thats EXACTLY what those opposed to civil rights (racists) did.
They mischaractized any movement under the umbrella as lead by whatever specific group they wanted to blame, if they used the mantra they got labeled with that group. Such is the power of institutional racist, instead of participating in change the racist pushback strongly for the same old racism to stay in place. Undermining a movement by micro targeting is the way to propagandize.

Actually you didn't hijack anything. I started the thread partly because of past posts referencing the lack of accountability for this 503(c) tax exempt organization know as BLM. As for the "cause" or "awareness" of lingering racial issues still persisting in this country I am aware we still have work to do and probably always will. Whether it be black, jew, white, latin, asian, work is on the table. I have also been vocal that Black community has some work to do within itself and I don't feel anything wrong saying this because there is truth in that statement. I am not alone in this statement many prominent Black leaders agree. I am also a proponent of school choice and I think it is 1 thing that could help younger students in low income areas.
I am also able to acknowledge the tremendous progress we have made in America in race relations. There is no shame in acknowledging progress while being mindful the job is incomplete.
