vertical game is a must for teams to win in this new NCAA football. You can spread and run rpo’s all you want but the reason all of it works is the threat you can pitch it and catch it 20 yards or more down field for that keeps defenses from stopping the short stuff by keeping everyone in the box, the second they do Lawrence to Higgins for a TD. Miami needs to get its vertical going if not it’s going to be a lot of the same.
