1. Much of the fan base is already turning on Manny—right on wrong. And that is not a good spot for a new coach to be in this early. Leash was always going to be shorter since it’s somewhat of a continuation of the previous regime.....no matter how many theatrics he tried to perform in offseason to scream TNM. At the end of the day, most unproven coaches just aren’t getting the great assistant coaches to come under them.
2. Blake will likely dig his heels as deep as he can w Manny for as long as he can. So unless there is just an atrocious couple of seasons, you probably aren’t seeing a change made anytime soon. It is what it is right now.
Both are basic observations. But at this point w no promising outlook in sight, I’m just defeated as a fan. It’s been too long since Miami was feared.
