I actually think there's a chance later mail in ballots might be less Democratic than super early mail in ballots. They still probably favor Biden though.
Those are day of votes; overwhelmingly Trump. This is democratic (small D) karma. ****ing with the USPS may backfire.
I’m going to put myself out on a limb, and say Trump wins. I know I’ll be the lounge Piñata if I’m wrong, that’s okay. Trump takes Pennsylvania, and Arizona. Arizona will end up being a Trump win. If I’m going to go down, I’m going to empty all my clips.

100% agree and while we are at it get rid of the electoral college. Dumb AF that voters in New Hampshire have more value than voters in Florida and Texas.

If you get rid of the electoral college you won’t have a true democracy. Our founders picked a representative form of government, so everyone gets represented. Our elections wouldn’t be anymore valid than Russia’s.
This would be the United States of New York, Illinois, and California. The rest of the country wouldn’t matter. All government has corruption, the electoral college is why this democracy has lasted this long. Take away the electoral college, the other states don’t matter, and corruption becomes a hundred percent easier.

The whole point was for all states to get meaningful representation, what you’re describing is perfect for an election of high school president? If you get your way this country is run by the super elite, and everyone else’s vote is meaningless.
meaningful representation is achieved through the house and senate: population based + 2 per state. pretty balanced.

Why, so that only a few major metropolitan areas decide elections? Policies? Supreme Court? Take a look at those same metropolitan areas and see how poorly they are governed.
Not really. It would favor the most populous states, at first, but would also incentivize candidates to turn out voters in states they normally ignored. So, Biden would spend more time in Texas and Trump would ahve spent more time in California or NY. The % may be low there, but the raw volume is still pretty good, especially if it's just a straight national popular vote.
Can I introduce you to the great failed state of Mississippi? Perhaps West Virgnia? Most of Tennessee and Kentucky? You want to talk about poorly governed, you need to check yourself man.

I don’t really have issue with electoral college I think 2 senate seats in Montana with 500k people and 2 senate seats in Texas, California etc Doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t know what the answer is but seems off IMO.

All envelopes say "no postage required if mailed in the United States." The law must require a forever stamp or postage equivalent to the current rate. That way all envelopes get postmarked no later than 2, maybe 3 weeks before the election date. This will give USPS facilities ample time to deliver the ballots to the proper tabulation centers.
The latest report says there may be several hundred thousands of ballots at some Post Office sorting centers that were not delivered.
Louis DeJoy, the Trump appointee who not only oversaw the daily operations of all USPS facilities but ordered all sorting machines removed from all USPS facilities but also directed the streamlining of all personnel, should share half the blame and the other half to blame is Mitch McConnell for lack of due diligence.
