We have too many guys on the O-line playing out of position. Searels seems to be a divisive figure on the board but I personally think he is doing the best with what he inherited. We have:
Here is one rotation
LT: Scaife - C+ to B range: His feet are far quicker than St. Louis, worry about his strength because of how young he his, and will have more mental errors. But hey we aint winning a ship this year and he could use this year to gain valuable experience at the position for next year when we will be in the position to make the playoffs. Our schedule is actually pretty favorable next year.
LG: Boulware - B- to B
C: Gauthier - B+
RG: Donaldson - B+ to A- range
RT: St. Louis B+ to A- range
The oline is the position that takes the longest lead time to fix through recruiting and we didnt even sign an o linemen in 2016. It looks like Searels did a good job with the '17 class given how little time he had to recruit. the '18 class seems to be developing and if we sign Neal that will be a stellor '19 oline class.
Here are the questions I have for next year:
LT: - Neal(if we sign him, he looses another 20-30 lbs, and he picks up the playbook.)
LG: Boulware - 5th year guy
C: Mahoney -5th year guy
RG: Donaldson
RT: Scaife - getting burn here this year
Who knows though along way before things shake out.
- LT: St. Louis - doesn't have quick enough feet for left tackle and because of that I'd give him a C to C+ so far this year. I think (havent looked it up) against the power-5 teams weve played hes given up at least 1 sack per game, probably more. He looked good last year at right tackle, B+ - A- at that position.
- LG: Venzell Boulware - quick feet, good at pulling, lacks the elite strength to be a top 15 LG. However he has been decent when he has had his opportunities, better than Jones. Id give him a B- to B range
- C: Tyler Gauthier - He's done pretty well i think, making oline calls and adjustments, hes lived up to his expectations but not exceeded them. solid B+
- RG: Hayden Mahoney - Actually been better than I expected, doing the best he can with his limited skill set. Against top tier interior linemen he gets abused. B - B+
- RT: Navaughn Donaldson: His weight is holding him back, watching him back pedal against fast twitch Defensive ends and get beat is so predictable. Id Give him a C-C+ at the position.

Here are the questions I have for next year:
- Will CMR force Bar Milo to graduate or do we need his warm body on the OL?
- Will George Brown put it all together and grab a tackle spot next year?
- Will Donaldson loose 20-30 lbs in the off-season and be a potential all-american at RT or will we say the same size and move back to guard?
- Who will step up and seize the LT position\
- Will we sign a transfer at the LT position in the offseason?
- Scaife will play next year but where?
