Now that the season is over with no bowl game. It's kind of weird because I feel like we don't have many memorable plays to choose from lol.
I have a few in mind but I'd go with the long TD pass TVD threw to Brashard Smith in the VT game. That was seriously one of the most impressive throws I've ever seen, for a few reasons. One, TVD threw the ball flat-footed without stepping into it at all. Two, the anticipation. He threw well before Smith actually came open before he beat the two DBs in the area. Three, the placement/accuracy. The pass couldn't have been more perfectly placed if he had walked up to him and handed him the ball. Just such a BIG-TIME throw from a freshman QB in his first season playing.
Not to mention the explosiveness that Smith showed on that play. Really excited about him going forward and can't wait to see how we use him over the next few seasons.
