What We Know And Don’t Know About January 6th.

Are you posting this as an alternate point of view or is this your view of the situation as well? Here's my POV-Imho utter bullsh!t plain and simple. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but to dismiss and minimize what happened is reckless. I hope those emboldened try and again and force Capitol police hand and get slaughtered.

Its the alternative right wing view that seeks to downplay the insurrection by parsing words. It gets more unhinged towards the end where the author (who is apparently so brave that he uses a pseudonym) devolves into the usual conspiratorial grievances of right wing nutjobs.

An insurrection where no guns were confiscated, someone hand comrade Raoul a dictionary.

I will agree that breaking into Pelosi's office is a crime. But why is that so much worse than having mobs loot and burn many private citizen's business' in Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis,,, Are Pelosi and the gilded political class deserving of special rights and protections over everyday hard working citizens. As horrible as January 6th was, it pales in comparision to every weekend in Chicago. Why is the National Guard not in Chicago? Why was it not in Portland, Seattle, etc.?

where were you asking for slaughter when businesses burned all summer?

Where was the liberal outrage when the Federal building in Seattle was attacked or the County Courthouse in Portland that was set on fire . One third of Portland burned . Over 1,500 buildings , 10,000 people were homeless . 3 people killed .
It’s called selective outrage - not a peep out of the leftists on here when it was pointed out that Biden’s campaign was bailing looters and rioters out of jail .
ALL lawbreakers need to be arrested including the ones that stormed the Capital in D C . And so does the filth that rioted and looted and burned and killed in the other cities as well

Have you heard of breaking and entering or maybe trespassing? That was the reason this person was killed.

You do realize the Capitol is open to the PUBLIC 6 days / week, closed only for Inauguration Day?

Here are some quotes from The Capitol web page;

-the design of this building is rooted in an ideal ages old; that citizens can build a government driven not by the whim of a dictator, king or tyrant, but based on the consent of the governed.

-And, in the shadow of the dome, the grounds are the nation's most public platform. From lone orators to masses of demonstrators, people come here to be heard. No other building so strongly symbolizes the freedom to speak one's mind. Today the Capitol reigns as a monument to freedom and a reminder of the power of the people.

It's The Peoples House, and a reminder that as stated above government is only there with OUR consent.

The person you are speaking to doesn’t care about history, the constitution or anything else but himself.

Idiotic comment as usual. They shot and killed an Air Force veteran for trespassing? Is that ok? Some Capitol Police were aiding and abetting rioters entering the building.

The Merriam Webster definition doesn't mention guns.

Now please scamper away and find the next neo-fascist source you'd like to spam up the threads with.
Insurrection is organized. This was more a rebellion which is not.

It is the People' House. A fact lost on liberals. If no Covid those doors would have been open with spectators in the gallery.

This was organized for weeks leading up to the 6th. Trump, Ted Cruz, Hawley, and others all made reference to it and the various militia groups were consistently active in preparing for the day. The mob wanted to murder Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi. It doesn't get any more insurrection than that.

The people's house has rules put in place by the people's elected representatives. The "people" who stormed the capitol don't get to usurp those rules just because they think they can or because they thought Trump "invited" them there.

Her being an Air Force vet isn't a factor in why she got shot. When rioters are storming the Capitol to murder the people's representatives, the Capitol police are well within their rights to use deadly force.

Where in this language does it say violent mobs are invited to storm the Capitol and murder the people's representatives ?

The people's house has rules that put in place by the people's representatives (members of Congress). These people were attempting to overthrow the government because their guy didn't get elected President.

They opened the doors.

A cop got killed and there is clear evidence they wanted to murder the politicians (Pence and Pelosi) and probably others if they could get their hands on them. These people are human scum.

Violent mobs? And the only person murdered was a unarmed protester. This "mob' more resembled a HS field trip at this point calmly entering and staying between the velvet ropes.

Protesters receive tour of Capitol
