That Frenk letter was something, he essentially admitted he didn’t watch over athletics or football for the past 5 1/2 years but is now being forced to do so by the board… attendance was only 37,000 tonight (and that was announced with 10,000 no shows), which was the lowest at hard rock (4 years before the renovation when the place was a dump) since November 2012 in the second year of a lost Al Golden season. You can’t quantify what happens when fans don’t show up, revenue is lost , hopelessness sets in and there’s really nothing to build on…. The schedule now gets much tougher with the three best teams remaining all coming up in a row. I believe by Halloween night they’ll have no choice (as the team likely sits 2-6 or 3-5) but to understand that a nuclear reboot is the only way out of this starting with Blake James. James was loudly booed at halftime and I don’t know how he goes forward leading the athletic department. Credibility is zero right now and when a leader loses his ability to publicly lead, they need to make a change.
