...when the hoops team loses to a school like Green Bay, some (not all) on this board defend it as a loss to an unknown, yet really good team, but when the football team beats a team like Duke, some (not all) on this board don't give the team any credit for the win?
I'm just curious. Maybe it has to do with the relative perceptions and accompanying history of our hoops program vs our football program? Anyway, just wondering what those of you who really follow both sports think is the reasoning behind this.
