Let's be real here. Coaches are not very good but the lack of talent in his team is pathetic.
QB--Argue all you want. None of them are exceptional and not one of them gets drafted in NFL. We have not had a good QB here since Brock Berlin. They are not good but..........they have even a worse OLine.
OLine--- this is the most pathetic unit on this team. Bad defensive lines made them look stupid and silly. They can not use the young excuse anymore. Watching football all day today and the lack of size and strength on our line is pathetic. Our strength guy has his work cut out for him. Has to put 25+ lbs of muscle on each of those guys. These guys could not run block for a second. Could not pass block. 10 sacks vs Duke!!!!! Again, 10 sacks vs Duke. Should have been 15 sacks.
WR's--Over rated. Every single one of them. Not one could creat separation. Stop with e JT is so fast and Harley is a burner. Well I have watched them for over three years and there is always a guy draped all over them. And not kne of them can get a 50/50 ball. Always lose those battles. Pipe can not play at 165 lbs. Gets manhandled.
TE-- only position that has talent. Get down on our knees that Brevin Jordan chose UM.
RB's Are just a bit o ove a g at best. Without DJ, no workhorse. No one that can move a pile. But again, with zero OLine, very little they can do.
DT's--even more over rated than our WR's. If I here one more person say Silvera is a beast, I am going to puke!! He is so undersized, gets pushed around, plays UN discipline and leaves his gap assignment it pathetic. The rest of the. Would not even start or maybe even see the field in last two lines we had.
DE--good pass rushers but other than Patchan, not one of them is good vs the run. Not one can set the edge.
LB--Pickney and Shaq are very good. But only so much you can do when DLine in front of you can't take on blockers. Shaq unfortunately to slow to be elite linebacker.
Corners--Bandy is a stud but the rest of them are trash. Mental mistakes in every game. Poor tackling.
Safeties-- super athletic but mental mistakes and piss poor tackling.
Defense as whole--two games now with no game changing plays. No turnovers. Mental errors.
So yeah we can blame coaches for lack of development, bad recruiting, shitty preparation. But they are not working with a lot of talent on this team. Tired of seeing inferior teams beat us physically, seem faster than us, meaner than us and simply want it more.
