All the hate to this kid for asking for more pay. His agent just got a portal transfer quadruple the amount he is going to be making. He got him that deal after he got Wong the 100K. The agent is the one who screwed Wong & it's understandable he'd feel under paid. This kid is a very good college player that is border line NBA talent & if you want to make the final 4 you are going to need guys like Wong on the team. He stepped up big time against USC round 1 of the tourney as well as against Auburn in the 2nd round upset. Guy has been here for years & for all this hate coming at him for asking for more pay is the definition of player hating.
To get to this level of player Wong has had to put in years of work & his future earnings are by no means guaranteed as it's a question mark if he can make it in the NBA, so for him to try to get paid while he can ain't crazy.
