I have been quiet while everything unfolded the last three weeks while people knocked Perry.. Checking the board during that time it seems people are now convinced Williams has a chance at being "the guy" this year, but let me save you the drama of thinking that, HE HAS NO CHANCE.. What people dont understand is that while he has talent, he is a one read guy who is facing 2s and 3s all day in practice, and getting 1/4 the reps.. He wont even be a factor this season.. Perry is the biggest gamechanger we have had at qb in 25 years, Richt is all in on this kid.. He is simply keeping the media at bay by not acting excited every chance he gets when talking about him.. Little Richt is all in on Perry as well.. He is completely different with Perry than he is with any of the other qbs, they watch film together and have the best relationship of any of them.. What Perry did to finish spring was a true look at exactly what he is, a guy who will make mistakes but also make fantastic plays at any given moment.. The only question mark is who backs Perry up this year, Richt isnt going to let Rosier hold us back this season when Perry is a BIG PLAY waiting to happen at any given moment..
