First of all I don’t recall democrats ever recall saying “republicans are going to kill your grandma”. That’s actually what republicans said when the affordable care act was being legislated and passed. They said there were gonna be death panels and your grandma will be killed. That’s literally a R talking point.if you think any hard working, contributing, tax paying, sacrificing American is afraid of having their 40 year CAREER retirement taken away from them by a republican, you’re off your rocker.
Everything out of every dems mouth is a they’re going to take away your free shit scare tactic. They’re going to kill grandma.
Trust me, no matter who is in charge, half the ppl in this country will continue to pay for the other half, and that half that doesn’t contribute will continue to bitch about the half that does not contributing enough.
tell me again why your kids can eat free at lunch and I have to work till three in the am so that my kids can pay for theirs. Why my kids should have to pay for college because I work my ass off, took risks and made major sacrifices and you’re kids should get free college that’s going to cost me a fortune that i’m saving for. Why I should have to pay double what you’re paying fir health care. Why my employees that work 40 hours a week have to pay double what their neighbor in their apartment complex is having to pay because they have a voucher and my employee doesn’t because they make JUST enough nit to be a “victem”. Why my employees have to bust their asses off taking care of people that get grocery money from the state when they have to pay for their groceries.
**** socialism. It’s not getting here, it’s here.
free cell phones anyone? Not you because you earned it, just for you because you didn’t. Vote dem right? If not, no free shit. Oh ya, and if you don’t vote left, you’re a racist.
how many times do we have to see/hear this bs? We get your message. It’s very clear.
Oh here we go Democrat Playbook 101. When all else fails turn to scare tactics and abortion.
Well said.if you think any hard working, contributing, tax paying, sacrificing American is afraid of having their 40 year CAREER retirement taken away from them by a republican, you’re off your rocker.

You keep bad mouthing profitable corporations. If not for them, who would have a job?First of all I don’t recall democrats ever recall saying “republicans are going to kill your grandma”. That’s actually what republicans said when the affordable care act was being legislated and passed. They said there were gonna be death panels and your grandma will be killed. kids get free lunch, get grants for college, because we are a first world country and part of being a decent people we don’t forsake kids in this world bc their parents made mistakes or are just unfortunate.
Section 8 that you’re referring to also falls underneath that umbrella. We agreed almost 100 years ago that we were not going to let poor children, disabled and elderly folks be homeless. What kind of society would we be as the wealthiest nation in the world if we did this?
Back to healthcare, if we didn’t offer children and elderly folks healthcare we would be paying for it anyway. When someone gets sick and ends up at the hospital with no insurance, all community hospitals have a duty to treat the patient and at least provide basic medical needs so that the patient can get out of the hospital. When those bills are unpaid at the end of the year the hospital turns to the local government to fill in that gap. (Our tax money). Now as opposed to having a reduced negotiated fee, we are paying the true cost to the hospital. Costing tax payers 3-5x more than if that patient had insurance.
who you need to be actually upset at are also corporations. In whar I’m about to say I’m not talking about the bottom 10% of the people in this country, I’m talking the 10-20% of the people in this country who are many hard working folks who need help. Corporations for decades have been underpaying workers. For many years a cashier at Walmart would make let’s say $10 am hr. She works 40 hrs a week, makes $1600 a month. After social security and medicare she takes home $1300 a month. She pays $500 for rent, $75 for electricity, $25 for water, $50’for phone, $150 for gas, $100 car insurance, $50 for internet, another $250 for food, that’s $1200 right there and we haven’t mentioned health insurance, health insurance, or even if she has kids. That whole budget gets blown away if she had children. So what happens that person ends up on these government programs. Meanwhile Walmart is profiting 25,30,40 billion a year and when it comes to paying taxes the pay close to 0!
Now who has to have more of their tax dollars go to helping out that woman that despite working 40 hrs a week, she can barely even afford to live with her head above water.
that’s what you call corporate welfare. We subsidize these companies employees supplemental lifestyle to the benefit of the corporation. It was about time companies started to pay their employees a living wage.
Actually what we would 100% LOVE is for our Government to CUT spending. He would like the poorest people to pay more taxes, while probably being in favor of reducing taxes on the wealthy. A predictable Republican tactic to widen the gulf between the haves and have nots.
Oh and in this country the poor and a good chunk of middle class, pay NO TAXES.Actually what we would 100% LOVE is for our Government to CUT spending.
Don't you agree that would be wise?
You keep bad mouthing profitable corporations. If not for them, who would have a job?
When you bad mouth our companies it tells me you are a Socialist. Incapable of understanding how America runs and why we are the land of opportunity.
Only the Left thinks like this.
That’s actually false. The middle class pays of bulk of the taxes.Oh and in this country the poor and a good chunk of middle class, pay NO TAXES.
Pay your fair share is meaningless because many pay ZERO already.
But you guys keep on Truckin with your nonsense.
Wages are up but INFLATION DID AWAY WITH THAT!LMAO!!!! I’m a business owner.
I understand how shady it is to get rich off the backs of people who work hard for you.
you can be profitable without screwing over your employees and given them a fair wage.
Dude do your homeworkThat’s actually false. The middle class pays of bulk of the taxes.
1) they are usually W2/4 employees which little to deduct and don’t have a business to pass through expenses
2) that’s the majority of the country. Whether the are lower middle class Or upper middle class

Don't they know me by now?Bingo. He didn't do homework. No surprise. Just DNC talking points.
Its not just the spending, but the stupid spending that is the problem. Roads yes, the kind that support big ole gas guzzlin SUV's. But the federal government funding thousands of pronoun checkers - not so much.Actually what we would 100% LOVE is for our Government to CUT spending.
Don't you agree that would be wise?
Wages are up but INFLATION DID AWAY WITH THAT!
I'll bet if I look at your books you ain't as generous as you claim.
I call Bullshit.
Lol. Well i expect an apology. Btw I own an office with 8 employees and myself. Remove me and the 75k I’ve earned myself. This is not even halfway thru the year….Wages are up but INFLATION DID AWAY WITH THAT!
I'll bet if I look at your books you ain't as generous as you claim.

Bro I ain't looking at your personal stuff. That's not my business. If you think that the wages you are paying are fair and generous than that's terrific but INFLATION is carving away at your generosity.Lol. Well i expect an apology. Btw I own an office with 8 employees and myself. Remove me and the 75k I’ve earned myself. This is not even halfway thru the year….
I understand how inflation is impacting businesses. It’s a global problem. It’s bad everywhere. It’s actually not as bad here as it is in other parts of the the world. We gotta weather the storm.Bro I ain't looking at your personal stuff. That's not my business. If you think that the wages you are paying are fair and generous than that's terrific but INFLATION is carving away at your generosity.
I am Board President of my condo building. Very high end building on the beach. We have valet, housekeeping, mgt and engineering, pool and beach service, so i know very well what the market is doing and the wages we have to pay now or else these people walk.
Not only walk but you can't get replacements or even any one to show up for interviews.
I'm not gonna look over your figures EVERYONE has to pay more now for EVERYTHING and that's the problem.
It is a VERY BIG problem just ask your staff. The wage increases are artificial created by Covid spending during lockdowns and what it took to get a large % to return to work.
Soon the wage market will correct as layoffs kick in. This will be a part of getting inflation under control.
It's already begun in certain sectors.
We have several totally thoughtless emotional turds that consistently embarrass themselves dailyif you think any hard working, contributing, tax paying, sacrificing American is afraid of having their 40 year CAREER retirement taken away from them by a republican, you’re off your rocker.

Deuce my brother you really are a walking and talking billboard ad for the democrat party. I sincerely wish you would be more open to conservative policies. We would NOT be this bad off if not for terrible mistakes at the start of this administration. That is a 100% fact.I understand how inflation is impacting businesses. It’s a global problem. It’s bad everywhere. It’s actually not as bad here as it is in other parts of the the world. We gotta weather the storm.
but the conversation here I was responding to was in regards to how corporations were not taking care of their employees and that forced the rest of us to pick up the slack bc they were failing in 2 parts. 1) not paying their employees properly and 2) not paying their fair share of taxes.
Don’t really have time to get into all the other stuff you wrote tonight but I will say this quickly. No one who works for me makes less than $20 an hr and the reason they make more than that is bc I have bonuses if we hit our goals. We hit our goals so I share the profits with them. I don’t keep all the profits for me when they too put in the work. I think it’s just the fair way to do things….Deuce my brother you really are a walking and talking billboard ad for the democrat party. I sincerely wish you would be more open to conservative policies. We would NOT be this bad off if not for terrible mistakes at the start of this administration. That is a 100% fact.
Some examples friend;
Lots of talk about not as bad here inflation rate but that's just not factual ( really don't care because we live in America)
Japan 2.5%
Israel 4.0%
France 5.2%
Canada 6.8%
Italy 6.9%
India 7.0%
Germany 7.9%
USA 8.6%
So here is a list and our Inflation Rate is worse.
Lots of talk about Exxon and profits and taxes.
Exxon Mobil made 23 Billion last year
They Lost over 20 billion the year before
They borrowed 30 billion in 2019 to fund drilling and refineries and carbon capture plants
They paid 40 BILLION in taxes last year!
Read yourself from the Business Standard
Exxon pushed back at the comments, noting it has continued to increase its U.S. oil, gasoline and diesel production, and had borrowed heavily to increase output while suffering losses in 2020.
"We have been in regular contact with the administration, informing them of our planned investments to increase production and expand refining capacity in the United States," said spokesman Casey Norton.
Exxon will hike spending 50% in its West Texas shale holdings, he said, where it expects to add 25% more output this year after adding 190,000 barrels to oil production last year.
An ongoing Texas refinery expansion will add the equivalent of a "new medium sized refinery," said Norton.
Exxon, the largest U.S. oil producer, lost some $20 billion in 2020, and had borrowed more than $30 billion to finance operations. It paid $40.6 billion in taxes last year, $17.8 billion more than in 2020, he said.
And finally you personally;
You aren't paying much more than anyone else out there.
If Secretaries are getting on average 40K per year you aren't paying yours 52K
If the maid that cleans every ones houses gets $100 to clean the house you aren't paying $200
If the warehouse guy is getting 45K to pack and ship products you ain't paying him 55K
On and on it goes. Nobody in business who cries about what workers are making is paying considerably more than the rest of us. If you did you wouldn't be very profitable.
