I think you just tell them where they stand and update them on where they stand. I think if you treat these recruit upfront it sets the right precedent. Also, you can basically have more time to go after other good QBs if you miss on these guys. I don't think you can go wrong just telling them what you are trying to do and why. The other thing is a lot of these kids talk. They know each other and you don't want to get a reputation of misleading these players. Especially in South Florida.

What happens is these things are about relationships. IN south florida if you start misleading these kids I don't think it is good for the high school coaches perception of the program either. It's not worth "maybe" getting a kid here and there.

If you are a good recruiter, as most think Mario is he should be able to get the players. He doesn't need to rely on on misleading players.
