I read Gary's assessment and I have no reason to doubt his observations whatsover. Putting that aside we are a better team. We just aren't where we need to be across all position groups nor could we expect to be. Missed out on recruits and have guys on our roster that should not be on our roster.
This is strictly a time thing. Mario needs the time to correct those weaker position groups and depth across the entire roster.
Some groups where we had lack of depth are now much deeper. RB, QB, DB, Safety, even O-line are all deeper than past years. The obvious are D-line and LB but I still think the D produces better than last year UNLESS injury bug hits us then we would be in serious trouble.
No matter how you slice it I'm still ecstatic what has occured in the past 3-4 months.
