Kid had a tremendous year here but made a bad decison. If you remember he was declared the Starter almost the moment he set foot on Campus. Which tells you what kind of garbage he had to beat out (Pope-Wiggins)
Look there is a reason measurables count so much in the NFL. Because you're matched up against somebody else who has the measurables. You run 4.7. He runs 4.5 and is a seasoned Pro. You will not be getting open. Period.
Rambo will get a shot. So did Gerald Willis. Another sure 1st Rounder. It's a savage league people. One advantage is that with 17 games it's a war of attrition with players. There is a need to keep solid Practice Squad guys ready and available. And there are only 7 Rounds in the Draft. Mark Clayton went in like the 11th Round.
