ESPN CFB writer Mark Schlabach has produced his own version of an early, early Top 25 for 2017.

In it:

The ACC has 5 teams
PAC 12 has 5 teams
Big 12 has 5 teams
Big 10 has 4 teams
SEC has 4 teams

Here's his breakdown by conference:

ACC
2. FSU
6. Clemson
16. Miami
18. Louisville
25. VT

SEC
1. Bama
9. LSU
11. Auburn
13. Georgia

PAC 12
3. USC
7. Washington
15. Stanford
19. Colorado
21. Washington St.

Big 12
8. Oklahoma
10. Okie St.
17. K-St
22.;WVU
23. Texas

Big 10
4. Ohio St.
5. Penn St.
12. Wisconsin
14. Michigan

Others
20. USF
24. Boise St.

Nice to see, at least in this case, a lineup not dominated by the SEC (no Florida, Tennessee or Texas A&M). More parity/balance I think even though Schlabach is a UGA grad/SEC guy.

What say U about his list and where teams are ranked? Surprised to see the U at 16? BTW, he noted Miami's 2-deep on the DL as one reason why.

Go Canes!
