Offensive tackle Jason Fox signed a two-year contract extension with the Dolphins, the team announced on Thursday.
Armando Salugero reports the contract is worth $2.5 million. Fox is a reserve lineman who
started two games and appeared in nine last fall, his first in Miami. He
filled in for Dallas Thomashttp://247sports.com/Player/Dallas-Thomas-8475 at right tackle after Thomas went down with an injury and could compete for the starting spot on the right edge in 2015.
"We are excited that we have reached an agreement with Jason to
keep him with the Miami Dolphins," general manager Dennis Hickey said in
a statement. "He was a very positive addition for us last season both
on the field and in the community."
