Two days after No. 5 TXAM stomped the Gators 10-0 in the SEC tournament in Hoover, AL, UF got revenge Saturday by blanking A&M 9-0 to eliminate the Aggies.
UF will play the winner of Saturday night’s Kentucky-No. 1 Tennessee game on Sunday for the tourney title. Maybe this sudden surge by the Gators will earn them their own regional and bypass Coral Gables. We can only hope.
Meanwhile, NCST and UNC will square off Sunday for the ACC title. Won’t the ACC and City of Charlotte just love that.
