I don't like 1 year deals in the portal acquisition game. Preference would be a 2 or even 3 year remaining eligibility. A 1 year remaining guy, although with experience, has to learn the system anew and integrate into the school with new players. The exception would be a big time skill player like the receiver from Oklahoma. last year for Canes.
