Baylor’s stadium, 45k capacity, and Oregon’s, 54k capacity, are good examples of what we need. Their stadiums are very nice and loud.
We don’t need more than 50k. We are a small private school that will never average more than 50-55k per game. I remember being at the OB on a Saturday in 2001 and 2002 and having like 45k.
If Ruiz is serious, he’d be able to build a state of the art 50k stadium that would be the best in college football.
Unfortunately, it will never be on campus or anywhere in Coral Gables. The residents will NEVER approve this. Tropical park, though - that could happen.
