The State of Louisiana just amended the state NIL law eliminating the prohibition of universities and boosters directly brokering, creating, establishing NIL deals with athletes. No idea how this is going to mesh with the NCAA "supposed" prohibition of pay for play, but in the State of Louisiana it is now apparently permitted by law (read the article on another site).
