Heads Up: Mega mea culpa, but I CANNOT cover today's game as time won't allow me. So I hope someone can step in the box and PH.
Wow, what a weekend we have had so far, huh? This feels like one of those "I have to pinch myself" moments to see if this is real or a dream. Like football, we've all waited so long for our baseball program to get back into contention for not only an ACC title but, dare I say it, Omaha?
Can we keep it going? We've now poked the bear twice and U know they don't want to leave SOFLA 0-3.
STARTING PITCHERS
UM: SO RHP Alejandro Rosario, 1-0 with a 8.17 ERA, down 4 points from where was 1-2 weeks ago so he's trending down, in a good way.
UVA: LHP Jake Berry, 4-0 with a 3.54 ERA. In 28 IP, he's given up 20 hits, 11 R, 11 ER, 10 BB and 42 Ks!
STARTING LINEUPS
Keep an eye on their cleanup batter Jake Gelof...he came into the weekend leading the nation in batting avg, HRs and RBIs. BWe've managed to keep him hitless but can we do it again in Game 3?
