You guys have heard me talk about this a lot. I have harped on the fact that until we can recruit more elite players, this vicious cycle of the past 16 years is not going to go any place. That is why I was so in favor of Mario being hired. It had nothing to do with Manny. Manny has never been a top recruiter.
So as an example, let’s look at Saturday’s LSU Alabama game.
Including the two quarterbacks who will be picked at the top of the NFL draft, there were 10 players on the field who ranked among the top 25 players expected to be drafted and 17 expected to be selected in the top 100 or first three rounds
we do not have one player with that kind of status
next year I expect us to have two - Rousseau and Brevin Jordan
