Canes Win!!!! Canes Win!!!! Canes Win!!!! Canes Win!!!! Canes Win!!!!!

Our Miami Hurricanes bounced back from that sub-par performance Tuesday night at home vs FAU to go on the road and beat Louisville 6-1. We had pitching, hitting, and fielding. Great start to take Game 1 and take a 1-0 lead in the 3-game series,

--------------------------------

Good evening, Caniacs...

Tonight we start the last series of the regular season at Louisville before the conference tournament starts next Tuesday in Charlotte.

We are 29-17 and third in the Coastal at17-15/ACC. Louisville is 27-18 overall and a surprising fourth place in the Atlantic at 16-13. They were No. 15 last week on D1Baseball.com but after getting swept by North Carolina (Pitt and VT also were swept last weekend).

From a separate post of mine earlier this week, here are the latest Coastal standings:

GT: 19-14
Pitt: 16-14
UM: 17-15
UNC: 17-16
VT: 16-17
UVA: 16-17
Duke: 13-17

As U can see above, almost every team has a chance to shoot to the top except for Duke.

Here are the other weekend matchups as Cane fans will want to keep an eye on the two teams ahead of us, GT and Pitt.

UNC @ GT
Pitt @ Wake Forest
ND & VT
UVA @ BC
Duke & Clemson
FSU @ NCST

MEDIA COVERAGE
Where to Watch on Cable: The ACC Network (all 3 games)
Where to Watch Online:
UM at UL (Watch ESPN/ACCNX/NCAA Baseball)
Where to Listen: WVUM Radio (Courtesy UM) or WMYM Spanish Radio (Courtesy: WMYM)
Where to View: Live Stats (Courtesy: UL/statbroadcast.com)

I'm not sure who starts for us but I know this, Louisville plans to start three lefties in all three games. No surprise, they know we have trouble with southpaws because our lineup has so many lefties.

Back with the first half-inning...glad to have U on board.

Go Canes!
