UM is SO fortunate to have a totally loaded QB room with TVD, a proven talent at the helm, Jake Garcia, another elite gunslinger backing him up, and Jacurri Brown, one of the most talented athletes on the roster now in the process of adapting to the speed of D1 football.

Look at what TVD accomplished in 2021 in spite of only having started 9 games:

Single Season Passing TD's. Tied for 5th in UM history in passing TD's with 25 (tying with K. Dorsey and B. Kosar). Walsh had 29; Dorsey one season with 28; Kaaya 27; and Testaverde, Kaaya and Rosier 26).

Single game passing yards ... came in at #9 with his incredible 426 yard passing performance against Pitt ... where he out-dueled Pickett who was on Heisman watch and is expected to be a 1st round draft pick. Pretty heady achievements for the young man. By all accounts he has been getting better in practice so the 2022 version should be the best we have seen. Every practice there are references to "NFL passes" being thrown. Strong arm ... hitting receivers with balls thrown 65 yards in the air .. with accuracy and putting the ball where only the receiver can make the catch.

Just hope the OC gives TVD enough latitude ... ability to change plays based on what he is seeing on the field ... and hope we don't TRY to run, run, run. Starting 12 games and the ACCC game ... TVD could establish new leading stats for passing TD's and total passing yards.
