1. Solidify the 5 OL starters. We all know the inexperience of the pool of lineman and while that is a cause for concern, having the best 5 identified and together can mitigate that. The O-line must work to first be a non-liability then allow the offense to flourish.
2. D-line rotation. All defense starts up front and the lineman here need to take that next step for the defense to do the same. Confidence breeds confidence, a d-line that does it's job frees up everybody else to concentrate on theirs. Prove to the world that you guys can get the job down.
3. The symphony of the offense. My guess is that there will be a lot of moving parts to this offense. The confidence in Brad Kaaya is very high and that is great but the other guys must keep up. The audible will be Kaaya's best friend and everybody must be on the same page for it to work.
4. Rayshawn Jenkins. His health is the biggest bump to the defense. Having him and Bush together will be quite dynamic I believe. The guys behind him are either somewhat limited or inexperienced. Having him full go may just be the cherry on top.
5. Kickoffs. If the offense turns out to be as effective as I think it will, we're kicking off quite a bit. This unit may see some starters, it is that important.
Get these 5 jobs done and the foundation is set for a fine season.
